Aqua Joy manufactures water filters that remove the following:

  • sediment and turbidity
  • Iron and Magnesium
  • Unpleasant taste
  • smells
  • suspended particles
  • unwanted colors
  • chlorine

Using epoxy coated steel or FRP tanks (depending on need), our industrial water filters can be used in a variety of uses including municipal, institutional and industrial water filtration applications, and in almost any climate or weather.

Utilizing the correct pressure tanks, valves and fine filter media options, Aqua Joy industrial water filters can suit most water filtration requirements.

Our equipment is designed to be operated manually, semi-automatic or fully automatic and requires very limited technical knowledge.

Multimedia water filtration system is a big leap from single media filters. This is primarily due to the improved work of the filter layer depending on the innovative use and selection of filter media. Multi-media filtration allows high-quality, filtered water to be delivered at much faster flow rates, compared to a conventional sand filter.

In a traditional sand filter, there are lighter and finer sand particles at the top of the filter layer, and the coarser, heavier sand particles remain at the bottom after backwashing. Filtration occurs at the top few inches of the filter base.

Backwashing of a multi-media filter is carried out in the same way as a sand filter, using the reverse or upward flow of water through the filter bed. Different media layers retain their division because each material has a different density

All steel or stainless steel industrial water filters include pressure tanks manufactured from high quality welded steel designed for an operating pressure of 100 psi and tested at 150 psi. Standard pressure tanks are equipped with inlet and outlet connections, a top-mounted load port (either a manual manhole or manhole), and a side-mount filter fitting. Due to the corrosive nature of other types of filter media, all carbon steel tanks are epoxy.

We design our filters using appropriate pressure tanks, automatic or manual valves, filter media selection and operating conditions, and our industrial water filtration solutions meet most water filtration requirements. The equipment operates using manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic controlled valves, and requires very limited technical knowledge. The start of the backwash can be via a timer, an external signal from a central control system, or using a differential pressure switch.
