A reverse osmosis (desalination) station equipped with a fixed mobile, whose mission is to purify water from water sources such as desalinating rivers, wells and seas, and each system is different from the other. These RO machines use a high pressure pump that pressurizes brine or saline water onto the surface of the semi-permeable membrane which has small pores. Water molecules are only allowed to flow through the tiny pores while preventing impurities such as salt, particles, minerals and other organic matter from passing through. These tiny pores have a strong ability to reject bacteria and disease-causing pathogens. At the end of this process, clean, pure water appears on the lower side of the pressure, while salts, minerals and other organic matter are sent into a brine stream and then to a drain.

In the treatment units, suspended matter is removed, water is softened, organic matter is separated, and some inorganic matter is removed, and organisms are removed to prevent them from attacking the reverse osmosis membranes. Water contains some dissolved air pollutants, and it also carries with it various minerals such as silica, calcium, magnesium, iron and others, in addition to suspended particles and bacteria.

The treatment processes aim to maintain the integrity of the RO membranes for a long time while increasing their capacity by removing suspended matter, bacteria, fast-settling materials, colloidal materials and others.
